Vinification: The harvest takes place at the beginning of September. Maceration for the extraction of phenolic substances may last until the end of alcoholic fermentation, depending on the phenolic maturity of each vintage. After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, the wine matures in French oak barrels, which are 3 and 4 years old, for a duration of 12 months.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Yiannoudi is the protagonist when it comes to the aroma of Oroman 2019, with ripe black fruits and sweet spices, such as nutmeg and cloves. Shiraz gives it an extra aromatic touch of violet and white pepper, completed with vanilla and oak notes deriving from ageing in the barrel.
The sensation of sweetness is quickly perceived in the mouth, which balances with the acidity and the existing, yet mild tannins.
It has medium to full body, which concludes with a sweet aftertaste.
Potential of ageing from 8 to 10 years.
